Petroleum storage tank (PST) systems
in Texas are regulated by the Texas
Commission on Environmental Quality
(TCEQ) technical standards, the EPA,
and other industry standard
equipment requirements.
The TCEQ and other State's
environmental agencies require
underground storage tank (UST) and
aboveground storage tank (AST)
systems to have overfill, overspill, and
release detection, and equipment
installed and maintained in
accordance with TCEQ requirements.
Owners and operators of UST and
AST systems are also required to
maintain records for system
maintenance, inventory control, and
release detection and other items.
CRG Texas' PST compliance
inspections determine and confirm is a
UST or AST system meets regulatory
agency compliance standards, and
may also be used to determine
potential liabilities associated with
property transactions.
- Removals and
Installations

CRG Texas personnel are
experienced in performing compliance
inspections in accordance with the
rules published by the TCEQ. PST
inspections are performed to provide
preventative maintenance against
releases of petroleum to the surface,
soil, and groundwater. Also, PST
equipment is evaluated persuant to a
suspected or confirmed release, or to
a pending property transaction.
The TCEQ has also promulgated rules
for soil and groundwater assessment
during tank removal, replacement, and
assessment activities. CRG Texas
provides assessments for installations
and removals of UST and AST
Systems.
CRG Texas performs release
determination and reporting, and
provides quality control inspections
according to Project Plans and
Specifications during construction or
removal from service during
construction. Also, we offer
Remediation Services Oversight and
Project Management services.
